Biography

Ashley (1967) is Account Manager and Senior Consultant at Mach Media, specializing in global  event and campaign management, media and public relations.

Born in Aldershot, UK, Ashley grew up in Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia. He came to Belgium by way of Paris and Zurich, where he spent many years working in media, corporate communication, B2B sales and advertising. His clients have included IBM, Swiss Telecom, UBS Banking Corporation and the World Economic Forum, Davos where he managed an exclusive 4-year MarCom contract.

Working for Magnum Photos, Ashley became founding editor of the celebrated agency ‘VII’, where he developed strong business relations with the world’s print and online news media including Le Monde, Der Spiegel, Time and Newsweek, MSNBC and the BBC.

In 2007, Ashley founded the non-profit association called ‘Real Expo’, helping NGO’s and other non-profits in communicating to the media and the general public, through which he has worked on educational activities and public events for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Peace Bureau (IPB), organizing the IPB Nobel Peace Prize centenary celebration in Geneva (2010).

With his international background and using his creative media and public relations experience,  Ashley is able to create and adapt your communications strategy to reach all business and cultural sectors. He is also a strong advocate of social and corporate responsibility and will readily advise you on how to develop CSR initiatives.

Finally he loves to travel and enjoys all forms of water sports including swimming, waterskiing and diving.
